What is the PPA Student Design Challenge?

Each year, the Paperboard Packaging Alliance (PPA) challenges students in leading packaging design programs to show off their design skills, innovative capacity and savvy in meeting real-world customer needs and marketing scenarios. The winning teams and schools earn cash prizes and bragging rights.
 

Who is Eligible to Enter?

Undergraduate students enrolled in packaging, industrial and/or graphic design programs from across North America (U.S., Canada and Mexico). Enter as an individual or a team.

What is the 2020 Student Design Challenge?

Design a packaging toolkit for educators to be distributed by the TICCIT® (Trees into Cartons, Cartons into Trees) program and engage third through fifth graders in an environmental and educational activity that highlights the renewability and sustainability of paper and paperboard packaging.

How Do We Get Started?

If you and/or your classmates are up for the challenge, the best way to get started is to fill out the entry form.
